The Talk Institute is pleased to offer the L.E.A.P. (Life Education and Puberty) program to groups of autistic children and their families. We collaborated with Kelly McKinnon and Associates to design a specific program for autistic children, so that they, too, can benefit from the important information shared, and grow up sexually healthy.
The Talk Institute understands that raising a special needs child can be difficult at times, especially when kids’ bodies are developing “faster” than they are. Children on the Autism Spectrum have special needs during puberty, and learn differently than other children. |
The L.E.A.P. program, sponsored by The Talk Institute, is specifically designed for children with Autism, or who display other developmental delays. We create a fun, relaxed atmosphere where kids learn factual and age-appropriate information about human sexuality. Families of autism enjoy this unique group environment, where kids and parents learn about sex and growing up TOGETHER, in a way that special needs children can understand.
